I learned this recipe from my grandmother, as my grandfather was a beekeeper, so honey was often used as an ingredient in the kitchen. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves simple-to-make sweets.
Ingredients:
-
4 whole eggs
-
24 g powdered sugar
-
A pinch of cinnamon
-
A little (about 1 tsp) baking soda
-
3-4 tablespoons of honey
-
4 tablespoons of oil
-
36 g flour
Instructions:
-
Mix eggs and powdered sugar: Break the eggs (whites and yolks together), add the powdered sugar, and whisk until as fluffy as possible.
-
Add the remaining ingredients: Add cinnamon, baking soda, honey, and oil to the mixture, then stir to combine.
-
Add the flour: Gradually add the flour in small portions and mix.
-
Preheat the oven: Set the oven to 180°C (350°F).
-
Prepare the pan: Grease a baking sheet, then pour in the batter.
-
Bake: Once the oven is preheated, bake for 20-25 minutes and check with a toothpick to ensure it’s cooked through.
-
Cool and Serve: After cooling, cut into pieces and serve as desired.
Enjoy your treat!
